Did My Mom Have "White Priviledge"?

An article I read recently “ Did My Mom Have ‘White Privilege’?” (WSJ) described the author’s young immigrant mother who arrived at Ellis Island in 1911 with her parents from a small village in Italy. Their story reminded me of the message on the Statue of Liberty by Emma Lazarus, which is so often quoted by immigration activists: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breath free.
